Sissy Jones
FOUNDER | EXECUTIVE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
You can still find Sissy Jones taking part in the family business she started more than 50 years ago. Sissy attended the Gemological Institute of America, McCarthey Jewelry Design School, Trenton Jewelry/Goldsmith School, and the University of Arkansas at Monticello. She is also a licensed appraiser. Today, Sissy serves as Founder of Sissy’s Log Cabin and is a member of the Executive Board of Directors.
Murphy Jones (1935-2017)
SECRETARY TREASURER | EXECUTIVE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Murphy Jones, Sissy Jones’ husband, studied at the Georgia Institute of Technology for Electrical Engineering and the Gemological Institute of America. He was heavily involved in his local community, serving as a member of Lakeside United Methodist Church and Salvation Army Board member, as well as many other boards in the Central Arkansas area.
Bill Jones
CEO | EXECUTIVE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
As CEO and a member of the Executive Board of Directors, Bill Jones is involved in every aspect of the Sissy’s Log Cabin business. A graduate of Pine Bluff High School, he attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and Little Rock. Bill is a graduate of the Gemological Institute of America and has been recognized for his jewelry design on a state and national level.
Sharri Jones
EXECUTIVE SECRETARY | EXECUTIVE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
As Executive Secretary, Sharri Jones is deeply committed to giving customers a warm experience at Sissy’s Log Cabin. Wife of CEO Bill Jones, Sharri is an integral part of the team and serves on the Sissy’s Log Cabin Executive Board of Directors. Sharri graduated from Pine Bluff High school and has a bachelor of science in elementary education from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.
William Jones, IV
PRESIDENT | EXECUTIVE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Son of Bill and Sharri Jones, William is a 2012 Graduate of the University of Central Arkansas. He became a Graduate Gemologist in 2013 after attending the Gemological Institute of America. William now takes part in the family business as President and a member of the Executive Board of Directors.
Kim Adams
CFO | EXECUTIVE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Kim serves as our Chief Financial Officer and is a member of the Sissy’s Log Cabin Executive Board of Directors. She is a graduate of Arkansas State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Business. A niece of Sissy Jones, Kim began working at Sissy’s Log Cabin in 1997 and has 25 years of jewelry experience.
Jennifer Turney
VICE PRESIDENT | EXECUTIVE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
As Vice President Jennifer is the lead buyer for Sissy’s Log Cabin, as well as the marketing director. Starting in 2012, she came to Sissy’s with a background in marketing, management, and jewelry sales, and now has 16 years of jewelry experience. Jennifer studied marketing at Arkansas State University.
